I served in the Air Force from 1978 to 1986. My top three duties during this time was Air Base Security for Strategic and Tactical Bombers, ICBM Missile Launch Officer and top additional duty for both was Nuclear Safety Officer.
Attended schools for all three duties. I was stationed stateside and in Europe for security. For Missile Launch I was stationed out of Wyoming and pulled underground alerts in the surrounding states.
Took a my last FEMA online course on Radiation around 2008.
Also retired early from Kroger Company in 2008 and taught college for 10 years.
Today I am a retired college Associate Professor and an Amateur Radio Operator. My wife a retired Nurse and we enjoy traveling in our RV when not home.
